ejE. J. Wright
Photographer

In 1975, working offshore and traveling the around the world, E. J. Wright had an epiphany.   "It hit me that I had to get a camera to take pictures of the places I visited."   His first was Minolta SR 101 manual.   By 2000, E. J. graduated from film to digital with a 2 megapixel Kodak, followed later by a Nikon D 80 camera.  Wanting to learn more about the art of picture taking, he read, scoured the Internet and sought out local resources - taking more  photos along the journey.

Now retired from seafaring, he offers professional photography services and website design (getitwright.net).  E. J. is also the current president of Camera South.  In his "spare" time, he enjoys gardening, fishing and cooking.  Pre-COVID, he enjoyed sitting in on percussion at Kazoola at its Thursday
Night Jam Sessions.   Lately, E. J. has been learning to play his new blue bass guitar...with a camera always close by.
